We offer great bikes to rent and demo, guided back country tours, a shuttle service to the Tahoe Rim and other great trails. We have a full service shop with qualified mechanics on duty 7 days a week. Whether you just need some direction to a favorite trail, shopping for a bike or gear, a quick repair to get you back on the road, or just want to talk bikes, come and see us. We will take care of you.
In 1985, Cycle Paths started one of the nation's first mountain bike touring companies out of a garage on Tahoe's Westshore. By 1987, we opened a retail location, in Sunnyside, just 2 miles south of Tahoe City. Over the next few years, Cycle Paths morphed into one of the area's premier bike shops, specializing in all things mountain bike related.
In 2005, Cycle Paths expanded and opened a second shop in Truckee, and added road bikes to the mix.. In the last 5 years, the Truckee shop became our main focus, as the majority of our local patrons are there, and the plethera of awesome singletrack in the community has grown exponentially. We are also proud to announce that our road team, Marc Pro - Strava, finished 2nd Place Overall, this year in the California Race Series.
With our major commitment to the Truckee Community, we have had to say goodbye to the Westshore. With regererated focus, we see the 2012 season as the best one yet to come. We are once again offering tours and shuttles, the best bike brands, a sweet fleet of demo bikes, and a great selection of clothing and accessories. To all our loyal customers who patronized the westshore shop, please come and see us in Truckee; we will take good care of you.
